I love Kitzbuhel!!! That is all I could say but I will give a few good reasons why. Hannennkhamm (Dont know about spelling, sorry!) Can there possible be a more frightening downhill course to watch on TV and then try to ski yourself. The Londoner Inn - A world famous pub in Kitz where the winner of the above mentioned downhill race serves beer on the night of the race. What an atomosphere that weekend! The picture perfect scenery - That sentence speaks for itself, not just of the mountains, but of the town itself.

This is a vastly improved resort compared to 5 years ago. The new lifts have opened up the area and gives you a tremendous variety of slopes to ski. I'm hooked and look forward each year to see the changes that have occurred. I have just returned from 31st trip to the resort. The snow this April was wonderful. Deep powder snow. Wonderful.

Fantastic week skiing, plenty of snow and the pistes were very well cared for. Stayed at the Edelwiss which is a small family run hotel - would not advise staying here if you want to party! They don't like people returning late. The Pavillion is great for Apres-Ski as soon as you get off the mountain but the Londoner still has the best atmosphere.

Kitzbuhel town is a picturesque Tyrolean village, complete with cobbled streets and attractive architectural façades. For alpine skiing fans, the name Kitzbühel has a special meaning. It is here that the most legendary alpine skiing World Cup event takes place each year: the Hahnenkamm downhill, named after the mountain dominating the city. This event has become a ritual for the skiing community and each year everyone gathers here to celebrate together in an amazing atmosphere. The rest of the year, the city-resort of Kitzbühel offers a respectable ski area, although sometimes there is not enough snow. For fans of enormous areas, the shared Kitzbühel Alpen Skipass links 630 kilometres of runs in the Großraum region by bus.
