Having an apartment in Arc 2000, means we have skied there 10 weeks in the past 4 years and it remains my favourite resort for skiing with its varied selection of pisted runs. I agree that there is not so much for the absolute beginner but there are masses of blues, reds and blacks which always seem different as the conditions change. There is masses of off-piste ...

This is a great little resort, with very good and high pistes! Designed for the beginner to intermediate (you need to ski reds to get to other blue runs). Enough runs to keep you busy for 3/4 days as the ski pass includes the 3 resorts Foppolo, Carona and San Simone. The Italians are very friendly here and really know how to look after you. Families will love this ...

Ischgl is pure class. Apart from the slopes, the snow and the views (all top notch), Ischgl has the best apres-ski on the planet! I've been to some of the best that North America has to offer, I've been all over the Alps and Ischgl's slope side party is head, shoulders and breasts above the rest. Ski straight to the Ice Bar in front of the Hotel Elisabeth at the end ...

Nassfeld is not much known outside Kaernten (Carinthia) which is strange being very extensive and well maintained – one of the best in Austria. They claim to have 110 km of runs and they didn’t make it up, you can’t ski them all in a day. Lately a lot of East Europeans are coming here for holidays but Slovenians have always been here for a day trip. ...
