A large sprawling resort. One of the older resorts it does not have the walkways you get with the newer custom built resorts. Getting about is not a problem though as there is the usual free bus that runs about every twenty minutes through out the resort. There are plenty of shops and bars, a good outdoor ice skating rink which is 4 euros with your ski pass, a ...

During our third trip there in January on the trot, Leogang again delivered in spades during the annual friends get-together. Early January sees two highly entertaining weekends in the village – the Ice Speedway and an old timers traditional wooden ski equipment World Championships . The latter is an excuse for enthusiastic Austrians to dress up in tweed or ...

Made a 2 day flying visit this February and was 100% impressed with no signs of screaming half-term schoolkids! Samnaun may be shopping and duty free heaven (designer watches, sunglasses, booze etc), but more importantly it hooks you straight into the 235km linked Silvretta Arena ski area without the lift queues and the bawdy German revellers of late night Ischgl. ...

Prijs ...

Beautiful village, very high so snow is good, ski pass valid for 4 ski stations in the valley. South facing, so lovely and sunny in Jan & Feb, snow gets a bit slushy in late April. Much sunnier than other villages in the val d'annivers, but small and fairly quiet. ...
