Supertof gebied wanneer je gevorderd bent. Alleen als beginner is wat minder. Veel pistes hadden steile stukken die ik als absolute beginner nog best eng vond. Les Carroz is a large friendly village with mostly self-catering accommodation and some nice little shops. There are a range of restaurants but we had to book a couple of days ahead for a party of 5. We really enjoyed our trip to Les Deux Alpes the second week of March. This is a very good high resort for intermediate and good skiers with fantastic snow and the largest glacier in Europe (3568m). Visited Val d'Isere in a group with three other snowboarders for a week from the 28th of March 2008. We stayed at Les Verdets apartments and although these were pretty cosy, they were conveniently located for the slopes and resort center. As a moderate intermediate skier all I can say is once you've skied Courchevel and the Three Valleys then you'll have been so spoiled that when your mates ask if you fancy a week in somewhere like Bulgaria "cos it's cheap" then you're going to pull a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp!
