Just returned from five days in Isola 2000. It's a great resort - lots of varied skiing on pretty tree-lined runs, quiet, no queues, very efficient new gondola (Mercantour), everyone friendly. The resort may not be pretty in itself, but it's incredibly convenient - ski in/out (Front de Neige), no poling, no carrying your skis, no stairs to climb up to the gondola, ...

Don't come, you won't like it! Going for the fifth time soon. No lift queues, a decent variety of pistes, good snow record, no gangs of apres ski drunkards, really quiet, but with 7-8 really good restaurants (if you like Italian food). Oh, and the transfer isn't bad either. If you like killer nightlife, La Thuile is not for you. But If you want to ski and relax after ...

Very nice place, excellent ski and logistic infrastructure! I stayed at Kirchberg hof hotel, 3 stars but has everything you need for a ski holiday: nice, clean and spacious room, dissent food. In Kirchberg there are plenty of restaurants of all choice. Kitzbuhel is 5 min drive. As for skiing, there are so many options around that 7 days is just not enough to visit ...

Note: Went after it had snowed 70 cm in one week, so piste conditions were unusually good. It was also the first couple of days in April, so the resort was sunnier than usual. Despite variable conditions (everything from foot-deep powder on top to sloggy slush at the bottom), my wife and I had a great time. The glacier runs are far better than Zermatt's, yet the ...

Great resort for all abilities! Quick transfer from Grenoble. Amazing views. Great skiing and plenty for the advanced skier. The resort has a a good ski park and ski-cross course as well; great fun! We stayed at Ecrin Les Neiges appartments. Good value and highly recommended! Plenty of bars and restaurants for apres-ski. What more could you want? ...
