The skiing in Seefeld is quite good & we were lucky to have some snow whilst we were there as it had been quite scarce up until we went. Having been told to "go skiing or something" because my wife's holiday did not coincide with mine or that of my son, we returned to Bormio this half term. We flew out Monday, skied three days and flew back on Friday. Fabulous. A quiet resort with well cared for pistes. Tremendous views of Monte Bianco, Grand Jorasses and from the highest point, the Matterhorn (Monte Cervino). The journey to La Rossiere is wonderful with great pistes through a sort of no-mans land and sensational views - go early as the Rossiere pistes deteriorate in the sun by mid day.
