What a great way to spend a week ! Party of 5 staying at the Hotel Diva in Val Claret. w/c 14th Jan 2008 Hotel - excellent location right next to the main ski school area and the hub connection to the Tichot, Fresse, Grand Motte Funiculaire lifts. Just a 10 minute walk into the Val Claret town with a number of good bars / restaurants / shops. Food (buffet) can be a ...

Just back from a week in Selva Gardena and had a fantastic holiday. For a half term week the resort was busy but very few queues - only those at connections for those doing the sella ronda, and these were only at certain times of the day. Skiing was excellent on well groomed pistes in bright sunshine. Mostly cruising runs, a bit of variety with only occassional black ...

Just returned from Aime-La-Plagne with my family, children aged 10 - 16 and friends with children aged 7 - 16. This was my children's 7th week on skis. They thought the skiing was excellent, if a bit "intermediate" but with enough black runs to give a challenge each day. The adults in our party loved the wide swooping blue & red runs on which you can easily get round ...

We are just back from Meribel Mottaret where we stayed at the Mont Vallon with our teenage+ son and daughter. I can't fault the hotel although it is very expensive - the staff were fantastic and the food delicious. The pool sauna and steam were nice and seemed to be well used. Our rooms faced the slopes (ski in and ski out.) but we met a couple whose room faced the ...

We have now been to Avoriaz for the past 4 years and we are finding it hard to book a ski holiday anywhere else. We ski with our 4 kids and both of our dads and resort is perfect for all of us. For the kids you couldn't find a better ski school than Village des Enfants, such a special place and the kids have loved being with kids from all over, not just a bunch of ...
