We stayed in La Tania over New Year (29 Dec - 6 Jan 2008) as a group of four families, our first time in the 3 Valleys after skiing in Switzerland. With mixed ages from 7 to nearly 50 and mixed abilities, we found La Tania to be a really good base and had an excellent week. Beforehand we'd been slightly worried that the single gondola out might be too much of a ...

Just back from Saas. Skiing - okay, but a bit limited below 2500m as lack of snow meant only one run to village open. Do a day at Saas Grund...great slopes and very sunny, whereas Saas Fee is cold and sun goes early. Village - very beautiful and charming, with all you could want. Accomodation - stayed at Hotel Allalin which was totally brilliant. Great views, food ...

Very good ski school in this resort. Trever is a very good instructor. Locals are sometimes ignorant and sharp, mostly nice. Liked Dorfgastein very much, and I will return soon! ...

Just got back from staying at the Hohe Tauern (catered Chalet) with Crystal Ski. Fantastic accomodation, great dinners and brilliant chalet 'boys'! Would recommend to anyone...cannot speak highly of Crystal right now. Relaxed shared and clean chalet (we were lucky as the other groups were a really nice bunch, and no children in our group that week!). As for Kaprun ...

First time Boarding and I have to say the Pistes here at Les Arcs were a joy to cruise. Loads of snow and well maintained. Lifts were effective but not fast, and don't use the published lift closure times, go by what's on the lift-cl***s themselves to avoid disappointment. Stayed in 1950, hotel was excellent, loads of room. Not much in the way of nightlife, but ...
