Stayed at Club Med and had a great time. Perfect weather for 6 days so no problem with winds on top. The runs at Cervinia are great for lessons and the mountains are full of breathtaking views. No powder as the slopes are consistently groomed. Not safe for off-piste due to crevices on the glaciers. You have to plan your day to Zermatt as there is no way back, except ...

We said we would never use same resort 2 years running but our group of 5 all agreed to return. We met German and Dutch Skiers on their 12th and 16th consecutive years. Great variety of piste/off piste, very good lift systems, great affordable mountain eating everywhere. Highly recommend Furstar Ski School for instruction and guides ( ound lots of safer basic off ...

Just returned from a week's skiing in Val d'Isere. We were a group of ten ranging in experience from a complete beginner and a few cautious intermediates to people who could ski anything on the mountain. Val d'Isere is definitely a resort for strong confident skiers. All the reviews we had read in advance - inconsistent grading of runs, poor runs back to the village ...

It's Austria`s highest resort so the snow cover is excellent. It's only 40 minutes from Innsbruck Airport - my taxi was 60 euros each way. Easyjet are now flying to Innsbruck - so flights are cheap. No lift queues in the week. Free daily bus to the centre of Innsbruck. Hotels good - I stayed at the Silzerhof - very friendly, food good. Negative points: The highest ...

I chose this area because we had a large group with some 16 year olds and the offer of an luxurious apartment with mountain heaven (dvds, xbox, full cooking set apart from an oven)was a for a very good price. Very quiet resort for nightlife but with a lot of bottles of wine and drinking games in a bar with a fake cave which the chef joined in as well!! We met a few ...
