I have gone to a lot of ski-resorts in Europe but Lech and Zurs are probably the best. Lech offers 5 star service with extra friendly people. The skiing is excellent if not the most difficult. The lift system is a dream with little or no queue's anywhere. None of the pretence you may get in some French resorts. Except from ski and snowboard, Lech and Zurs have good ...

Stayed at the Hotel Walser very near to town & the main gondola (5 minute walk). Excellent hotel with great food, great rooms & very friendly staff. I can't fault it on anything. The ski area is a little small for intermediates but the closeness of other resorts included on the lift pass makes it worth trying. We visited Pila (beautifull) & Chamonix (awesome) which ...

A mixed group of 10 intermediates, we stayed in Chalet Juliane, opposite Bauers Ski Alm last week (19th to 26th Jan). A compact resort so nothing is far away. The skiing was great, generally did a warm up run on the red 53 underneath the Kohlmais Gondola before heading off around the ski circus or towards Leogang. The only real challenge our group faced was the long ...

Great snow at the moment, although La Rosiere suffers a bit from freeze/thaw as in the sun all day although this means it's very warm some days, even in January. Take good sun protection if you are going in March! La Thuille, had a bit less snow but colder, and the snow was in better condition, as in the shade a lot more. Whole area mostly easy intermediate skiing, ...

my party went to les arcs just before the season started, to get an idea of what we would be skiing on later on at our next visit. We visited the lower cable car station of the Vanoise express, and wow!! we watched it crash into the station - man was i glad we werent on it - broken necks for sure!! Anyway, having returned in early january, we werent surprised to see ...
