Amazing snow - very very lucky with conditions except they don't groom every night and it got really bumpy if you stayed away from the pistes that the ESF didn't use. There is just lots and lots of skiing for mixed abilities and something to suit everybody and that's without the rest of the 3 Valleys. I went with a party of twelve who were a mix of abilities. Fortunately we had loads of new snow so the slopes were in excellent condition. The town is small but has everything you need. Just back from a week in La Thuile. Nice village, good selection of restaurants and bars. The nightlife is quieter than some resorts, but I went with a large group so we had fun anyway. Good selection of slopes for beginners to advanced. Black no 3 definately worth a try (73% gradient).! woohoo! You can also nip over the French side to La Rossiere. Skiing is nice ...
