Fantastic, small resort but the skiing is varied and there's a lot of off-piste available without much hiking. Pistes groomed very well, even when the resort was packed on New Years Eve, the little resort next door Dobrinishte was much quieter and is very very pretty. We had great food and service in Chalet Rozov and we loved the old town. I am planning another trip ...

The was no grubig alm piste! How things have changed. The biggest loss is the ...

Christmas in Les Arcs 1950 is a real treat. The resort is wedged between the truly awfully looking 2000 and 1800 below, the village has an almost plastic feel about - with music pumped into the streets to accompany your stay, the street entertainment was always accompanied by people on stilts dancing to african / middle eastern music, it was clear that the whole ...

Visited Saas Fee in Christmas 2007, with my wife and grown up kids. It is a resort best suited to intermediates as there are not many blue runs. We stayed at the Crystal Hotel La Collina, which had great facilites, and single rooms for the kids at no extra cost. Plus a swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Although the food was a bit limited. The walk to the lifts ...
