Visited Couchevel 1850 on 15 Dec 2007. Fabulous place both on and off piste. We stayed in a Crystal Finest chalet that offered excellent service and ski guides.. Matt, Ben and Alex. I have skiied in Mayrhofen a few times with a group of friends and we are looking forward to another trip back at new year. I went to Les Deux Alpes for the first time this Easter (1st week April 2007) The resort is great, everything you could possibly want is there. The nightlife is great, and most of the bar staff speak English.
