We visited St Gervais in March 2008. Whilst we had a good time (stayed in apartments near the telecabine) the snow conditions were very poor and we will think again before returning to a low resort. Have been heading to La Plagne now for a number of years and it seems to get better each year. Always great skiing and snow conditions. There is good early snow at the moment! Sella Ronda is something that you don't want to miss. Simply unbelievable and irresistible. I did it both ways 2 days in a row and i already miss it. Ski schools were great and most of the teachers speak english fluently. The lift system was great, so was the food in the mountain huts. In general a great place, highly recommended. ...
