The “secret tip” among the ski resorts of the Wallis region offers lots of sun, great snow-security and a spacious area with 60 km of slopes of varying degrees of difficulty. You find this resort at an altitude of 1322 to 3100 m. The 160 m long ski tunnel on the Hohstock opens up a paradise for lovers of deep snow, snowboarders and riders. Fun is ...

Autovrij dorp. Auto achterlaten ...

La Chapelle d'Abondance is great. I go every single year at least once. It is quaint and picturesque with varied, quiet slopes. Snow cover is generally excellent and I feel Portes du Soleil has proven itself to have a reliable snow record. La Chapelle itself is nice and quiet, but if your favourite part of a ski holiday is the nightlife, the venues in Chatel provide ...

Font Romeu is quite a good place for exploring the whole of the Cerdagne and Capcir. However, for skiing you are better off at Les Angles in the Capcir which is about 20 minutes drive (you can see the back of Font Romeu from the top of Les Angles). I don't know why Les Angles is not in the guide as it is a much better resort in my opinion. There is also skiing next ...
