St anton probably has the most reliable snow in austria. the main ski area of st anton itself does get mogulled up, as it is where the beginners tend to congregate. much better to take the time to ride to rendl, only a rope tow and brief traverse away, or better yet zurs, lech and stuben (via st christoph - a fun little run on its own). just s a bit at the end of the ...

Zermatt is unlike any other resort. it is elegant, traditional, romantic and full of postcard-scenery. excellent skiing if your are at an intermediate level at least. skiing isnt vast. it does get very cold when the wind is blowing, so be prepared for it. good food on the mountain - but certainly not cheap - nor is the lift pass. ...

Me and my husband have just come back from week in La Plagne. It was my first time so I don have too much to compare, but I enjoyed it very much. But my husbands fourth and he was impressed. The best ski resort that i have stayed in so far. it has excellent ski slopes, snow parks and ski clubs for children. it is situated near courchevel so you can easily catch one chair up and then you can ski the same slopes you can ski at courchevel without paying all the extra cost for accomodation that you would have to pay if you were staying in courchevel. la ...
