Delightful small village but with plenty to do. lots of friendly dutch and english people. busy at times on the slopes, but with the funicular it is only 5 minutes until you are at the top of the hartkaiser. runs on ellmau side were limited in number but it is very easy to get to scheffau and soll to explore loads of runs. piste map does leave a lot to be desired and ...

Finkenberg is an excellent resort. The scenary in the Ziller and Tux valleys is breathtaking. Finkenberg is picture postcard. The resort is friendly, with 2 good nitespots the Laternal and the Finkenest. As far as the skiing is concerned, the super zillertal liftpass is one of the best value passes I have seen. It covers 589km of piste which includes the public buses ...

We stayed in Hemsedal over New Years 2007/08. Had an amazing time. The snow was incredible. It was a great change having snow all over the place. Even Oslo airport was covered in snow. I found the skiing very convenient, fun. The red sky sunsets at that time of the year are amazing, you can tell you're closer to the Arctic. The apres-ski was the best I've experienced ...

The valley between Innsbruck and Neustift is stunningly beautiful. While a bit limited in scope the whole resort is modern and efficiently organised. Lift and restaurant staff are very helpful and welcoming. The snow, even at the end of April in a poor year, was excellent though a bit heavy at lower altitudes towards the end of the day - the price of blue skies and ...

I have skied around the world and I can say that Maria Alm is one of my favorite places. The village is traditional and clean, food is good, prices are reasonable, no queues at the lifts, friendly people, good apres-ski, and great skiing. One of the best kept secret ski resorts in Europe. Maria Alm is a quiet resort close to several others, part of the vast Ski Amade ...
