Finkenberg is an excellent resort. The scenary in the Ziller and Tux valleys is breathtaking. Finkenberg is picture postcard. The resort is friendly, with 2 good nitespots the Laternal and the Finkenest. As far as the skiing is concerned, the super zillertal liftpass is one of the best value passes I have seen. We stayed in Hemsedal over New Years 2007/08. Had an amazing time. The snow was incredible. It was a great change having snow all over the place. Even Oslo airport was covered in snow. The valley between Innsbruck and Neustift is stunningly beautiful. While a bit limited in scope the whole resort is modern and efficiently organised. Lift and restaurant staff are very helpful and welcoming.
