We visited Bansko last year, in the low season and had a fabulous time. The skiing was great for intermediates and it was not crowded at all. It really is excellent value for money. Some of the mehanas in the old town are lovely and the food was delicious. We stayed at Chalet Rozov (fantastic!), on the outskirts of Bansko, so it was nice and peaceful, although there ...

This is a great little resort, with very good and high pistes! Designed for the beginner to intermediate (you need to ski reds to get to other blue runs). Enough runs to keep you busy for 3/4 days as the ski pass includes the 3 resorts Foppolo, Carona and San Simone. The Italians are very friendly here and really know how to look after you. Families will love this ...

Vele mensen denken dat Zwitserland erg duur is. Dat geldt zeker niet voor de prijzen van de liften en de huurprijzen van de chalets of appartementen. Hotels en "uit eten gaan" ...

The ski area at Hafjell has expanded over the past few years, and with the addition of a gondola, there are a good number of varied runs for all ski levels. There are also more family and nursery runs and the childcare is excellent. This is definitely the place to introduce your young family to skis (or boards). ...

Charming resort, very friendly people, good runs, if not the longest in europe! queues are very short, runs are well groomed, the slalom run in podkoren is very challenging at 47degrees. Plenty of bars and restaurants, cassino is good fun. Looking forward to our 3rd trip in january. ...
