Les Menuires is a great resort for everone. I have been there twice now and heading back there once again in the new year. Its a great base to start from each day in the middle of the three vallyes. Pretty quiet, charming village set in a narrow valley with minimal traffic, at least if you stay up in Dorf. Tax- prices make shopping for skis, sunglasses, cigarettes and booze attractive to many. Basically I am told the conditions there are the best in the country. Vallandry is de poort naar Les Arcs én naar La Plagne. Prachtige pistes, elke ochtend weer prima in orde gebracht door de snowcats.
